The property comes first

The building decides the approach.

An exposed coastal elevation and a sheltered inland room need different preparation and maintenance decisions. In traditional properties, moisture movement and earlier coatings matter as much as appearance. We consider timber condition, render, masonry and the practical use of the home before recommending work.

  • Country, town and coastal properties
  • Weather exposure and exterior access
  • Repair based preparation and finish records

Planning your Angus project

For rural properties, include the location, vehicle access and any arrangements needed for an unoccupied building. Exterior surveys should distinguish decorative failure from defects requiring another trade. We agree what can be completed as decoration and what must be resolved first, then plan suitable conditions for application and curing.

Before you enquire

Your questions, answered.

Do you take enquiries for rural properties?

Yes. Include the postcode and access information with the scope so we can assess the practical arrangements and confirm availability.

Can exterior painting fix damp?

No. Failed gutters, leaks, penetrating moisture or other building defects need investigation and appropriate repair. A new coating is not a substitute for addressing the source.

How is exterior work scheduled?

We consider access, preparation, surface moisture and the product requirements. Weather can change the programme; suitable application and curing conditions take priority over a fixed date promise.

How do I begin an enquiry?

Send your property location, the rooms or elevations involved, photographs if available and your preferred timing. We review the brief and agree the appropriate call or visit; nothing is booked until confirmed.

Tell us what you have in mind.

A room, a kitchen or a complete home. Share your location and what you would like to change, and we will agree the next step.
